December is on us, the last month of the year and a lot of Holidays packed within it. Will you get everything done you want to?

Club work on the N-Trak modules should continue tomorrow, so the weekend will start in Bloomington. Work on my B&M N scale layout continues. After two false starts, I hope to have the two sidings out of one section of town done. Twice now I have had the new track down, and twice I have torn it up because I have not liked something. After careful research (Google Earth is a wonderful thing) I now have all the information I need to get the final bit of track down on the one side of the layout. I also hope to sit down and figure out what detail parts to order for a couple of locomotive projects I have to get done for Galesburg. Yup, time to start thinking about that show again. This is the weekend that Angela wants the tree up, so I'll be assigned to Christmas Tree duty at some point tomorrow and will find, cut down, pay, bring back and set up said Christmas tradition. After the tree is up, I hope to get the MTH Christmas train up and running.

So how about you? Will scenery be limited to the Christmas tree? DCC or lighting? Bench work? Whatever your plans are, let us know. If you have pictures, all the better! We'll all come back on Monday the 10th and see how we all did.

One last thing before we go. Today is December 7th, a day as Roosevelt would say, would live in infamy. 71 years ago, a tragic loss of life and the start of the full involvement of the United States in WWII began on this date. Today is Peal Harbor Rememberance Day. A moment of reflection should be in order for all of us who enjoy our freedoms.

    High Greens!

Probably wont get much accomplished this weekend. Going to bank in a little bit about an auto loan and possibly drive up to Pittsburgh and buy a pickup. Then off to Wheeling for the night and back home tomorrow. Hoping to meet a couple buddies at a LHS near there tomorrow morning.

Hopefully I'll be able to do more than last weekend, which had too much honey-do and not enough trains. The car float apron awaits, still. It will be warmer, though. If the rain holds off spray-painting will be easy, and if not maybe I'll do it in the garage.

It looks like train show season has come and gone already for us. To be honest, I've got enough kits that need building and freight cars that need weathering to keep me busy for years.

This morning I have make some skyboards for my four T-Trak yard modules. This afternoon I have to load up my truck with my HO and T-Trak modules and head off to Middletown NY., to set up for the Greenberg Show at the Orange County Fairgrounds, Saturday and Sunday.

With all of section 2 track laid, it's time to start scenery here, and finish it elsewhere. I've been paintint stuff the last couple of nights, so I'll be installing things over the weekend. And there's this really interesting meant foam road trick I want to try for my rendition of US 61.
