The last weekend of September is here, the summer was gone in an instant, or so it seems. Time to forge ahead to the fall schedule.

I have a few weekends ahead of me until work takes control of my weekends followed by Holidays. This weekend I plan to get more done on my T-Trak module of Maywood Station. It would be the perfect weekend to work on the two modules that bracket Maywood. This would include the north module that would hold the Alco and Bay Window Caboose they have on display and the south module which is just mainly trees. My logic in working on the two other modules is to get trees done for all three of them. So this maybe a tree weekend.

In other news that starts this weekend, I will be calling a fellow TB member as we start preliminary work on a joint N scale project. Details will come, but I can tell you, we are on a schedule and it will be CB&Q!

So how about you? What are your plans model railroad wise for the last weekend of September? Track work? Maybe some painting? How about some structures? Whatever your plans may be, let us know! We'll check in on Monday the 30th and see how we all did. Until then, have a happy, productive and safe weekend and.
    High Greens!

The weather is just going to be too nice. I'll have to get out for a bike ride, and I've got to do some yard work, at least, to keep SWMBO off my back.

But, I did get one Hydrocal casting done for the concrete around the tannery, and I'll try to get a few more. The single sample will allow me to work on placement, and setting things up to get the levels right. I'd like to start on the interiors for all the buildings, at least some sort of basic framework so I can hold the roofs up and maybe get some lighting into the buildings.

I am going to the Rural Industries Modeling Congress tomorrow in Willamina, Oregon. I am helping out with the modeling contest. If anyone here is planning on being there I'll be checking in models for the contest most likely.

I am planning a new paint booth. Have many of the pieces and components already at hand. Just need to do some shopping for the fan, and filter portion.

Ken, I hope to have some pictures, but I am apparently now THE guy running the modeling contest so I may not personally have a chance to really take any. I am hoping someone else will get some nice photos since I will be busy administering the contest.

I recently got some weathering pigments (Bar Mills) from my online pusher, and have been experimenting with an Athearn blue-box freight car, just to shake the rust (so to speak) off my weathering skills. I'll post pics later.
