Friday is here once again which means only one thing, "What do you have planned this weekend?" After weeks of doing the model airplane thing for work, I'm finally going to get some time to work on trains. I started early last night by working on my Maywood Station T-Trak module. Tonight I head to Decatur Illinois to help my club set up for the local train show. Our club got our new club shirts with the new Club logo too. We used to be N-Trak of Bloomington Normal (NTBN), now we are N Scale of Bloomington Normal (NSBN). We updated the logo to look more modern and changed the colors to orange and black. Looking forward to the fresh new look and new opportunities for the club. While at the show, I hope to get a few decoders for my Atlas GP38-2's and GP9's as well as some undec stuff. So how about you? Do any of you have shows this weekend? What about open houses? Fall is here this weekend so it's time to start thinking about those big train shows coming up such as Milwaukee and Springfield MA just to name a few. Whatever your plans railroad are this weekend, let us know, with a picture or two. We'll come back on Monday the 23rd and see how we all did. Until then, have a happy and safe weekend and... High Greens!
Train show in Temple, Texas on Saturday. Five of us will be evacuating the hurricane for the trip up north.
Who knows? I'm still hoping to get some Hydrocal poured for the concrete apron around my tannery buildings. SWMBO is back from taking care of her parents, and she's already go a list. And, my daughter is in town, too. We'll have some nice dinners. I just picked up my new car, a 2013 Jetta S. Maybe I'll just drive to my LHS, just for the fun of it.
