    Matthew,
Great looking locos!! I especially like how you've weathered the plow and truck sideframes. I also like how the stripe on the nose goes into the MU receptical cutout, that's a little detail that many wouldn't have attempted. I noticed that you didn't add windsheild wipers or sunvisors or wind deflectors to the 705 A. I have many locos that I have left these details off of because I pack them around to the club and to shows and have noticed that they are the first things which get damaged. I have a friend who has a permanent layout and I have detailed several of his engines using all of the parts I could and they fair much better with little or no handling. That same friend has his computer plugged into a timer, (he has teenage daughters) which limits their, (and his) computer usage!! Food for thought! :D

Wow, how many years did you ride the rails in those locos to get them that weathered? :D

Real nice looking stuff, and from a Brit too, lol! I wish I could make my stuff look that nice. Put up some more when you get them done, please!

<font color="336633">I have not added wind deflectors yet as the locos will now be packed up for a couple of months (or longer) until i get myself a new house with space for a layout.

the windsheild wipers.......... whoops forgot about them, also noticed i forgot to put the speed recorder cable on after painting.
are the A-Line wipers the best ones??

I have still to add lighting and DCC but thats something that will be done when i get em on the layout.

I also have an RS3 (ex NP) and a GP38AC (ex Frisco) that are almost done, the GP38 wont be as weathered as the F's or RS3 as it would have been a fresh repaint.

    thanks [IMG]

No doubt about it Matt .. great job with the weathering .. it really looks like they just got back from a cross country run on the Empire Route .. and now need to go for a trip through the loco laundry. [IMG]

Beautiful F's, Matt...great detailing job, and your weathering nicely captures that beaten look the BN F's had. ;) :D As for windshield wipers, I'd definitely go with the A-Line ones, they're finely detailed and easy to apply.
