February is more than half over. I know when I lived in Illinois, I looked forward to spring, but honestly, winter in New Hampshire is fun and I don’t want it to end!

With that said you probably are tired of hearing about it but yes, tomorrow is scheduled as a snowmobile day with a work buddy. We’ll be riding on the former B&M Northern ROW which is now the states biggest snowmobile trail. We are going to a vintage sled meet before exploring more of central NH.

Sunday, if I’m not too tired from Saturday, I plan to go out again. I also hope to work on the City Job. If my track gets in, I can finally work on the third module and switch some Santa Fe industries. I am at critical decision point however with the layout. It doesn’t look like Bill and I will assemble the layout as a whole anymore and I’m debating on rebuilding the whole layout based on the information I received at Trainfest two years ago, or carefully fix the layout as is and just use it for shows, or just do away with it altogether and move on to the the HO Free-Mo modules. Decisions, decisions.

So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We’ll assemble again on Monday the 18th to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

Now that my taxes are done I can focus on modeling once more. Today I ya e a couple plastic kits to build and paint. Then it’s time to make my HOn30 snow plow. Sunday I will finish the last of my trees. I need to k ow how much more material I might need to buy. Then it’s time to finish up all the small details I have left for another day. I have started the planning of the scenery for the next section and it just isn’t coming to me yet. I am in supply purchase mode for that area right now.

I have yet to decide what I am going to work on -- I should keep fiddling and fine tuning my layout -- but, we'll see.

    Y'all have a great weekend,

Going to be raining in Raleigh all weekend... heck, for the next 10 days for that matter. May be moving my RR into an ark. 2 of each kind of car and all that. In any event, this weekend I hope to work on both some cardboard scenery lattice as well as finish up a run of plaster I've already started. Also start on a bridge that is needed as well as clean up the room. The room needs a serious straightening up.

Spent today in New Orleans for Stacies uncles funeral. A real great guy. World War II navy veteran. A blimp pilot, which I never knew until his oldest son gave the eulogy.

My brother in law is visiting this weekend so may be limited railroad time. Still, I’ve added some spurs and pretty much settled where the industries will go. The upper level is nearly done and maybe I can throw some paint down so I’m not railroading through the pink universe anymore.

And I may start adding locations in JMRI and see if I can generate a few test trains.

I will have the table saw out so my friend can cut and fit his fascia panels on his HOGGER style Port of LA layout.
