A few times in the last week or so I have replied in a thread either I have began or another has. When I go to 'edit' it I make corrections then hit 'enter'. But it freezes here and will not go back to thread or move at all. I hit 'reply' (again) and it does return to thread but without the editing I just labored over. I'll try again to go to 'edit' and sometimes it works and other times it freezes again.. I only use library to go on line and I believe it occurs independent of which library I'm at...
    Thanks, Mark

After you "edit" you click the SAVE button below that message box.

I seriously doubt it is on our end. Sounds more like a local issue.

I do always hit 'save', that's when it freezes. Perhaps I should have used that word, not 'enter'. But you're probably right that it's not on your end as no one else seems to be experiencing it.

first thing to do, use Safari or Internet Explorer to download Firefox, and use Firefox as your primary browser. There is a reason why techies like it, and it is more secure.

IF you are using Firefox, clear your cache by pressing "shift", ctrl" and "delete" AT THE SAME TIME and be sure to delete your cache and cookies and delete for the timeframe of "everything"

If he's using a public (library) computer, probably won't be allowed to download a browser to the system. The issue does sound like it may have something to do with permissions or restrictions built into the system...I know there are limits put in place on government computers (as those used on military installations) that prevent or block some sites and functions. Not really helpful, but a possible reason for certain issues.
