Hey all, Does anyone know if BNSF is planning on running the Christmas Santa Train soon? I have tried looking for any mention of it on BNSFs website, no luck. My son loved it when we saw it two years ago in Eureka, MO!!!! We missed it last year because of bad weather. I am hoping it will make an appearance this year around St. Louis. Ski
A passenger car set has been reported in San Bernardino's B Yard as reported on trainorders. No dates or destinations yet.
Sorry Ski BNSF Holiday Train ran to the City of Hope in Duarte CA Sunday Dec 2nd on the Pasadena Sub. It was at Barstow CA on Monday Dec 3rd.
The one I am talking about was a BNSF SD-40-2 decorated all over with christmas lights and four cars, a boxcar two flat cars and a caboose, also decked out. Santa and some BNSF employees and their families would sing and put on little skits on the flat cars. Santa would hand out candy, etc... My son loved it. I think it is put on by BNSF Springfield division employees/volunteers. Ski
