    Haywood- Welcome to TrainBoard!

Hop on over to our HO Forum and browse the message archives. I am certain there will be some inspirations for you there.

Also, if you are interested in learning about planning a layout, we have a Layout Design Discussion Forum. There is some excellent talent there to answer questions.

Hi Haywood, Welcome to the TrainBoard, glad to have you on board. As Ken suggests, look at the HO forum, but also look at the Inspection Pit which disusses model railroad techniques and questions that are not specific to any scale.

Welcome to Trainboard, Haywood. Take the advise of the late Lynn Wescott ... "start small and 'grow' your railroad empire".
As you proceed, share some photographs of your layout with us. :)
