I initally purchased an Intermountain SD40T-2 and installed the Digitrax DN16310 decoder. Everything is fine. Then I purchased two SD45T-2's and installed the Digitrax DN16310's. The lights on the front are almost impossible to see. However the cabs are illuminated very unprototypically bright. Is this the wrong decoder? There doesn't appear to be a significent difference in the 40' and 45's? What's up? Doc
Check to see that the LED is aiming at the light bar or whatever you call the plastic thingy that directs the light to where it's needed. If not, bend the LED leads lightly to bring it in place.
