I want to make a 4x8 1980s CSX Layout on the Aberdeen Sub and I want make an interlocking similiar to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yKgZwwlv2E . Anyone know the track plan that he used or can figure it out (i'm drawing a blank so far)? Also what track did he use, atlas code 55?
The turnout looks like Atlas so an assumption would be the same for the track. The track plan I can't help with.
It appears to be Atlas code 55 track based on the turnout in the foreground, and that appears to be a 11.5 degree crossing. Just off the screen to the right there is at least a double-track section or yard. That's all I can come up with from the video.

Looks about right. I'm guessing since he made a meet to the right of the camera (right of the diamond) that there is double-track (or a siding) on what you call the "Aberdeen Sub".
You are correct harron, I am modeling this on the AC&W and A&R interchange and Interlocking with CSX in Aberdeen, NC. I hope to have a full trackplan up by tomorrow!
