I need to purchase more turnouts and since I'm running DCC what are the advantages & disadvantages of each, Insulated frog & Electro frogs?
    Thanks

I went with the insulfrog when I was using Peco. It worked great with my NCE Powerhouse!

I am using HO Peco Code 83.
I have both, insulfrogs in hidden staging and
electrofrogs on the main part of the layout.
I have not powered the frogs on the electros.

Both are working fine with DCC and no modifications.

N scale here, and c80. I use insulfrogs exclusively, and they are plug & play. DCC ready out of the box. Good thing--my wiring skills are as minimal as they come!

    Hutch,
Thanks for the information, it answered my question. I always have to remind myself, with DCC, the train runs the track, whereas in DC, the track runs the train.
