Paul, The guy standing on the tracks is in danger!!!! Looks like the facing Shay is gettin up steam to pull out.. You better post some signs "Stay Off Tracks" in the loco shed location..... All joking aside, thats some great modeling my friend.. Keep up the great work.... However I do have one question, The piping crossing the tracks... Is that from a water tower? To take on some water or what exactly is that ? Reason I ask is on my loco facility that I'm building an adding onto my layout, I want to make a "water bridge" to cross a span of tracks. Being that I have to kit bash a few water towers and make a bridge of some sort and connect it to make the piping and down spouts and all. Yours looks interesting... Or is that an oil fill pipe for the oil burners? I noticed the Shay going in the shed is an oil burner so.. Anyway, NICE job! I hope mine turns out that detailed and nice! But, slightly BIGGER for the big girls I run.....
Dang Paul, your still impressing the heck out of us all with your talent and expert craftsman work. Well done, you deserve a big pat on the shoulder! Impressive!
Hi all and thanks kindly. John, the pipes above are a wash facility so I can keep my loco’s looking clean-ish.
Paul, Thats an impressive feature on a steam layout.... Cleanish is the word because "clean" wasn't how it happen thats forsure, steam was anything but clean.. HA! But the dirty ole mosters are a loved species thats forsure even if they were a dirty machine.. their the only actual man made item that actually "lived" HA! Nice idea for the cleaning auxilary in that.. it makes for a good conversation piece I'm sure.... [ 31 March 2002, 20:47: Message edited by: 7600EM_1 ]
