    Brasko,
What has worked for me with the Peco Electrofrog's is to not worry about powering the points or the frogs.
I would drop feeders for each of the straights and the entries to the frogs. Insulating just the inside rails works fine although I normally insulate all four rails

Fantastic so I add power just before the frog, but not the frog itself, ok and as for insulating all 4 rails may I ask why? Just curious. Now that I have the track blueprints I really need to figure out a theme/era/railroad to model....or perhaps I should come up with my own railroad to model...but what to call it and what colors haha. This is where I will fail as I am not very imaginative.

And what damn locomotive will I use, I am really interested in GPs. And out of the entire range the GP9 and GP30 are my favorite of them. Perhaps I could model a wildly updated GP30 with wide cab and fans from the GP60M. I will have to look around for a GP30, they do not seem to be very common. I watched a few BLMA videos on installing their grab irons and fans...detailing really does not seem that difficult, you just have to have the proper tools and some patience right? I figure since my engine will be such a focal point I will detail it as well as the cars that I choose. I will spend the day deciding on a locomotive.

    This is fun!

    Brasko,
Since the insulators create a small gap, I figure I might as well make sure that I have the same small gap on both rails to facilitate keeping the track aligned.
