I have some Aristo-Craft loco and cars (Pennsylvania) that are in barely used condition. I am not familiar with this scale. What would they be worth? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good question. I do not know of any site which might provide a specific number. A Google search might find the original retail price. Then a search of eBaY, might give a hint for what some are bringing from bidders.
Thanks Boxcab. I had tried eBay but was putting in "Aristo-craft" but it seems like the listings are all under "Aristocraft". Guess its all in how you spell it.
It is. And sometimes there is no "f" in aristocra...ft. Depends on version. Early ones, you can't hardly give them away. Hard to tell for sure from your pictures. I had a late Mikado (also referred to as a Pacifikado due to a new chassis under the stock Pacific boiler) I gave away for a hundred bucks. Nobody around here wanted it. The market for LS trains is soft, moribund...almost non-existent. Always be careful determining value from evilbait. Sometimes it is a very good idea to show the end of the box with part number if you have it. Or, ask for clarification on how to determine version. Dave
