Rick passed on November 18th 2022 due to Pancreatic Cancer.

I know he showed many of us how to do many cool things. He was always there to answer questions and while he was able, he did some amazing decoder install projects.

He did many amazing Fre-Mo modules and always made time to talk to folks at shows.

Rick was a personal friend of mine as well. A fond memory was when he came over to my house and it started with trains and we ended up talking about how we each got our Doctorates.

    I miss my friend...

my condolences to his family and friends. He helped me get some of my code straight for my tram layout. I didn't know him outside the forum but he will be missed by many. ;(

    Thanks for posting this David.

Rick and his FreemoN modules had been a fixture at our local shows in the SF Bay area. He was always friendly and helpful to everyone. He will be missed for sure.

I'm speachless... I have talked with Rick several times over the phone and he never hinted of any health issues while always being extremely helpful and giving great insight on DCC projects. Class Act!!
