Some stores are starting to get the Intermountain GN FT's in stock now.
Even though I would quit the hobby before buying from these guys [IMG] , N Scale Supply has some nice side by side photo's of both FT's on their web site.

Just curious as to why you don't like N Scale Supply? I have had a couple of dealings with them, and everything went smoothly.

I do not want to start a store bashing here. I have good reasons for disliking them and I will leave it at that.

Too my eye the Intermountain shell looks better than the MT. I can see a couple of mistakes in the MT phase 3 dynamic brake housing and MT's nose is too flat, the decals for the A unit side could have been done better as well. The MT horns are way too close together and they also didn't polish the seems out of the A unit nose  , Intermountain did a much better job on this. One thing that doesn't look right to me is the Intermountain fuel tank, it seems to be a little high and should hang down more between the trucks. I have a feeling that the tank could be lowered to the correct position with little trouble. I like the way the glass fits in the Intermountain shell, this is a nice touch.

I do not have my Intermountain ATSF units yet but after seeing these photo's I can't wait [IMG]
