Hmm.. not sure. I know progressive rail has a bay window.. but odds that it's the same one? that'd be pretty cool
Is theirs repainted? It'd be fun to see if some day they'd paint back into historic colors? Boxcab E50
That's quite a colorful wreck train! Interesting to see that BCR (BCOL) car. Is it part of a collection? Or somehow still in revenue service? Boxcab E50
whoa.. anyone ever been here? speaking of cabEESE! http://www.offroaders.com/Destinations/Lancaster/Red-Caboose-Motel.htm
I wonder how it is to actually live in one of these? Rather small quarters. But, insulation? Hot in summer? Cool in winter? Etc? How much money invested to make a cab truly a living space? Boxcab E50
I'd heard but the switch to trucks. Did anyone hear a reason why? Is it merely costs? Or is there more? This caboose is a work of art by itself. Should be preserved! Boxcab E50
They feel limited to the communities they can serve. They want to go to more places than those that have rail service.
Nice page! That black ballast, I'd guess, is from copper. Slag, or leakage from trains. Maybe they should clean the ballast. Might be some $$$ in there. Ha ha. 2010? Hmmm. I'd guess the same party still owns the line? Boxcab E50
That is the best shade of green. The yellow contrasts perfectly. I'd like to see repaint photos. Do you know what type paints were applied? Hope it's something that will stand up for a long time. Boxcab E50
