Hello all, does anyone have an update as to when these might be in stores? I keep drooling on my keyboard and that needs to stop.

    Thanks,

    Chad:

The IM F-3's are supposed to arrive by the end of May.

I have ABBA SP F-3's on order.

By the way, think these will take the same decoder as the FT's?

    Chad:

I think you should wait till Digitrax issues a decoder for the F-3's.

I have no clue what decoder the IM F-3 will use.

That's ok, we both know a modeler who has purchased enough ATSF to make up for the SP modelers.

Unfortunately my NYC F3's will probably come from Wig-Wag before my mainline is ready for them! However, hope springs eternal :)

Digitrax and NCE will both be offering drop in decoders for the InterMountain F3/F7 mechanism.

I wrote an email to IM about getting undecs. The reply I got is that there are so many variations that they may consider selling a kit form unpainted version where the modeller can pick their own details out of the pack it comes with.

If they did an undec I'd get one. So if you think likewise. You should email them. [IMG]
