David F. and group I messed up when I tried to drill out the fans on a MTL GP35. They are gone completely bases and all I need to know what you (David) used for your fan bases(the sides) on your GP40 Conversion. So I can try to fix my GP35.

    Thank you in advanced

worry not pray a lot. i have a set of the fans i can send you. PM me with your address. if you have a hobby shop nearby that has styrene tube, you could cut that out, too, and drill it.

i also lost one of my fans on my first conversion .and had to glue a new stack in place of it. that's why it's so crucial to work the drill sizes carefully, keeping them centered, until you get to the right size. sometimes i "saw" with the drill bit to get it evened out in one direction or the other.
