I have a couple of Life-Like C424s which develop ugly screeching drive noises. It seems to be the motor bearings. Now I looked at them and cannot see a way how to get the shells off. Could anyone enlighten me, please? :lightbulb: I don't want to break something while trying it by brute force. Thank you :angel: .
They are the same as all split frame design , Atlas , Kato . Yes , a little bit more tight . There is 2 bump on each side were the body slip over and lock . I always start with the rear with a jeweler flat screwdriver . Pry one side at a time , a little on one side , following with a little on the other side . Not much I can tell you more . Be patient !
