My question is this, I know most of you guys use MT's as well as myself. But I do not operate with them. I use a jewlers screw driver to uncouple or the big hand method. How many of you guys really use the magne-matic method?

I cut off all my trip pins in Z and N scale (of course I didn't do this until I went and painted them all black)

I use a pic and the 0-5-0 like Joe.

i use them. it's part of the advantage in having them in the first place. i'd much rather uncouple a few that don't work as well as they should, than have to uncouple everything!

I use them too, as I buried 2 supermagnets under the rails at various locations on my Timesaver module so I could run the switching puzzle.

I used the magnets. Its hard to used the stick method on the inner part of the layout. Its lot more fun for switching moves when you use a magnet. Just dont put it in the mainlaine.

Besides Bob's super magnet, is every one using the std MT magnet and if so, are you placing it directly under the track ties (i.e. cut out the cork road bed)?
