How far east did the NP travel? I know they made it into Minnisota, did they ever cross the river into Wisconsin?
Actually, if you look at a map, it went farther north,and I think it did make it into Winsconsin though.
Well, Back in the early days, the NP actually made it to Chicago, through a lease of the original Wisconsin Central. It was a huge money drain. When the NP went through a bankruptcy, somewhere in the 1890s, it lost the lease. The NP did make it to the Superior, Wisconsin area. The RS11s were bought for service in this area.
