Thanks Greg, the slots are a really good idea. I have about 12 interchangeable leg assemblies. Slotting those assemblies will be a project this autumn!
Pocket and Catch with Wooden Braces My O'brien oNeTrak module uses the removable pocket and catch legs, but I added pivoting wooden horizontal and diaganol braces for real good stability.
I remember this thread, but I don't see a post by me. The Naptown WHite River modules use screws. Basic, easy to install, simple to replace if lost, screws. Build Madodule, screw legs, mark on side of module which screws are holding the legs (so you on't unscrew, say, the end board of the moddule) and back the screws out. Been doing that for awhile. Course, our legs are also H shaped with a crossbar, and the actual legs are in an L, so the whole assembly is fairly sturdy. We also have a crossbar on the module that the legs fit between that and the end board. Teardown is simply two guys with drills and a team of two picking the module up off the legs. We use wall plugs for the bussline and ye olde squeeze clamps hold modules to the modules.
