At top right of any page, find in small white letters "Settings", click; Next page, left side, scroll down to "My Settings". Under that header see "Edit Profile Picture"; click, follow instructions; Save.

I'am still having a problem. I got the picture to show up on the website but not on here(tapatalk) I went to try to redo it again and after I hit save. It says upload file failed
I also did a screenshot of the pic. Thanking that maybe the kb's of the original was high and the reason for not working. But that didn't help
Maximum size is 301 by 301 pixels or 100.0 KB (whichever is smaller). Can you verify these sizes? BTW- That looks like coming off the east leg of the bridge at Wishram. Somebody had a little editing fun!
I can not. But what I can do is maybe try to reformat them or compress it. I'll be back if it doesn't work. I came across this pic a few weeks ago. I like it
Oh. Were you talking about uploading something as an Avatar? You'd said profile picture, which is quite different. Custom avatars are available to Supporters. We have Staff who help design and upload something custom, or your own, when you become a Supporter. Otherwise, avatar choices come from the stock listing. If curious to learn about Support, please click the "Upgrade" button in the orange bar at page top. Or questions can be directed via our "Contact Us" , located in the gray bar at page bottom. This latter button takes you straight to the man in charge of such matters.
Oh. I thought they where the same thing. My mistake. Yes I was trying to upload a custom picture as a avitar. It worked as my profile picture. Just not for the avitar picture. What kind of support are you talking about, money wise?
