Spookshow, I hope you see this. I know you taken this thing apart, but I'd like to know if it's possible to remove just the boiler without breaking anything. If so, how is it done? I can't tell from the parts drawing.
Okay, I found out about the screw under the dome thanks to Spookshow's website, but in testing this it looks like the boiler shell will not come off on its own without first removing the long brass wires along the boiler, otherwise the stanchions will break off. These wires don't look like they pull out of the stanchions.
