Well .. I'm going to be an 'early bird' too .. I need a U-joint for my brass Westside HOn3 gauge Shay. Anyone have an extra in their junk drawer?
Perhaps it would be best for each scale to have its own "scrapyard," to reduce confusion and the need to read through a lot of information that does not pertain to the scale being modeled. Just my two cents worth.
Ok....Here's my contribution. I have several pairs of Atlas N scale Alco RS-11 truck assemblies, both with and without couplers.
on my post on the parts I need. Rivarossi 2-8-8-0 pilot truck. The open frame shown wheel type, not the one like the Y6b has, that shows the frame on the pilot wheel. And also a set of 3 axle, 6 wheel Commonwealth trucks by Rivarossi to fit a Vanderbuilt tender. The trucks don't nessicerily need to be able for electical pick up just the truck frames and wheels. As always and everyone should already know being its me thats asking ... HO scale! HA! I'd be interested in a trade and or buying these 3 items....
Sorry Mopac, don't have any SD35 fuel tanks but I'm sure Atlas still has them. Gary, I have an SD45 shell minus the cab. Let me know if your interested. Thanks
I need the lead truck to a 2-8-2 Mikado made by Meheno/Lifelike(It says"Made in YugoSlavia", and has a trigon on the bottom. I have this unit that I rebuilt the pilot for, repainted it and repowered it. I might be able to use a cowcatcher as well. Right now, I have an 0-8-2 switcher!!! Almost done!!! Benny, I may have the cow catcher you need! I know I don't have the pilot truck, but I believe I have a cow catcher you might be able to use.. It came off a Bachmann 2-8-2/2-8-0. I had to make a "Rock Knocker" for it. And get rid of the cow catcher so. I saved all the parts I cut off for future uses. You may be able to use it I donno. E-mail me on it if it intersts you... I made the Bachmann 2-8-2 into a 2-8-0 and customized it to be a Western Maryland "H-9" 2-8-0 and it didn't have the pointed cow catcher. It had like a plow type thing on it. The Western Maryland called the pilot point a "Rock Knocker" So. I have the original pilot left. I'll match it up to one of my 2-8-2 IHC loco's and let you know if it will work... yellowstone10@hotmail.com [ 15 November 2001: Message edited by: 7600EM_1 ]

NNNNNNNNNNNNNN Scale I have a Life-like E8 B&O shell that I would like to trade for a Union Pacific shell of the same kind. Anybody want to trade?
Rett, To bad thats not HO scale! I need a B&O E-8 body to replace one of the ones I have thats Pennsy! : I also need a E-8 B unit body in HO for Rivarossi/AHM. 2 of those matter of fact! Seemingly IHC wants $31.98 a piece for them! and I need 2! I got 2 powered E-8 "B" frames with no bodies! But I also have 3 E-8 A units with bodies that I want to make B&O passenger livery. So.. Ratz! I'd trade the Pennsy E-8 A unit body for a B&O one in HO scale if anyone has one or is interested in a Pennsy E-8 A unit... It has the Pennsy all green with 5 yellow stripes scheme.

quote:
Originally posted by Colonel: firstly BTW does anybody have a motor for a KATO GP38-2

Crikeys! I forgot about that. An Atlas motor will fit, I'm sure.
I'll look at my can motors when I get back, there may be one you can use on your Kato. Hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving! Ole Watash is full as oink!!
N N N Scale I have two Con-Cor Southern, PB-1 shells (1 green and 1 black) that I would like to trade for Union Pacific shells of the same type if anyone is willing to swap.
Anyone have a old Atlas Water Tower spout??? I need 3 of them and the little frame the spout mounts too! I'm kit bashing a Atlas Water Tower to span 3 tracks! The Atlas Water Tower and 3 Bachmann Plasticville signal towers bashed to be a hugh water plug... Yard Facility!
I've got a couple of Con-Cor E7s in HO scale (one powered, one not) I'd be willing to part with in exchange for something in N scale. If you can help me out, shoot me an email at friscobob_2000@yahoo.com
