Just saw a photo of the forthcoming MinitrainS caboose. Looks nice. I want one! Right now it is looking like the coming year might be a good one for HOn30 enthusiasts.
Photos of the caboose are on the MinitrainS site. Looks pretty close to the Fiddletown and Copperopolis caboose #4. I hope some other stuff was shipped with the cabooses. I put in an order with a place in Denver for a passenger set and a second engine in November, but now the MinitrainS site says they are sold out of everything. Looks like HOn30 has been having a good year!
2014 was definitely a banner year for HOn30. I need to get busy and finish up a few projects on my work bench. Making way for who knows what will be coming soon.
I'm wondering what happened to the Forney that Minitrains had up on the web site before Christmas. Can't find anything on it now. Jason
Have seen a few others asking this same question. I keep hoping that will sell so well he'll do a later version. Steel cab, smooth dome, etc.
On the HOn30 yahoo group, MinitrainS Andreas Schönfeld replied to a question of availability of the Forney: "Dec 29 5:00 PM Joel, you did not miss anything. I will announce availability and price once the Forneys are available. Andreas" I'll be really happy if they come with spoked wheels. I'm also looking forward to their 0-6-0 porter.
I just got a shipping notification on a F&C 0-4-0 and passenger set! Here's to starting off year right! I think the caboose will have to wait till later. I have some Z scale stuff that needs be purchased. Allied has 12 in stock.
