Just recieved this photo from a family friend, Richard Snider. It was taken by one of his parents. The view is of the Mountain Quarries RR "No Hands Bridge" from the old Hwy 49 bridge. A steam engine has just passed over the bridge as can be noted by the plume off to the right. Look closely where I've put an arrow. Is this some kind of homemade railcar/speeder??? I don't have any info that would indicate they either did or didn't have any and many/most railroads had them. I will be posting this sometime in the future on my Foothill Rails site as well but wanted to give you all a looksee and see what you think.
Sure gives me the impression of a rail car. Do you have photo software, which would allow enlarging with any clarity? Boxcab E50
That is already done. 300dpi plus some cropping. Object is clearly visible in original and clearly an object on the bridge and not some weird blotch on the photo.
