Guys, I'm looking for help in designing myself an HO switching layout. I'd like to keep it small, say 18x72 inches, and simple. I recently joined a local HO scale club, and I've slowly been aquiring HO scale rolling stock to run there. I would like to have a layout of my own, however, for when I don't feel like traveling. :D

I guess I'm pretty flexible in what it can be. My current HO scale roster includes an Athearn S12 and a Walthers 3-bay grain hopper, but it's slowly growing. I'm kinda interested in seeing different approaches taken to the layout theme. I'd like some rural and urban designs, and some in between. :D Since I don't have much rolling stock now, I can always aquire more based on the layout.

    Any takers out there? :D :D :D

Great idea Brian. Thats a nice size switching shelf layout. Do u have atlas RTS for drawing a layout or some other type software? Could your dimensions go 24"x 72"? StickyMonk has a nice switching plan. Look at the HO section. [IMG]
