Welcome to TrainBoard. The newbies train talk.

You can have a lot of fun with a 3X8 train layout. Lot's of ideas and a few over and under plans to consider. Check with you LHS or go on line to see if you can get a hold of any Atlas Layout books. Plenty of ideas to be gleaned.

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

Three by eight has excellent possibilities. Slightly smaller and very strurdy for moving is using a hollow core door for a base. If that seems interesting, we also have our "HCD" Layout Group here. But you can discuss it anywhere, N Scale, Layout Design. Whatever works best.
