I'm an old guy (73) with many years of repeat experiences. I have dabbled with model railroading with little to show for it. I currently have a 6' x 2' (approx) layout loosely based on the "Time Saver" plan. It is HO, DCC, Homasote on hollow door with cork roadbed, code 83 nickel silver rail, and manual turnout controls. Good on ya, sir. I recall rides on Hueys as a PVT that made any roller coaster seem tame, can hardly imagine trying to hang on and shoot at the same time. Would have loved to try, though...
I was lucky, 9 months of flying, only got shot at twice and never had to shoot anyone. The ride was a trip and a half though, over 100 mph below tree top level, lifting over rice paddy dikes, flying in canyons of clouds at 9000 ft and freezing your a** off only to drop through a hole in the clouds to monsoon weather and temps in 90's. Everyday something new and loved it all.
