I am Alan from UK. Current project is a small n scale layout (3'5" x 3'5") which I am building with my kids. This is my first model railroad venture since I was a kid and my first foray into n scale.

They are 10 and 8. They are really excited as the track wiring is completed, so they can actually play rather than just me telling them how cool it will be when it is finished. My youngest has already asked if it can be his when finished.

Alan, what might be fun is for your kids to ask and post questions on the Train Board, then look for and read the answers. Great way to really involve them in our (your) Forum..
