I have been pretty busy the last few months and have not had an opportunity to check the board. I have been traveling a lot during this period including trips to Pittsburgh, Vancouver, Austin, and Boston. I will also be returning to Pittsburgh in about a week to visit our daughter for parents weekend at Pitt. We also had a little excitement around here about a girl named Rita. Fortunately, the storm had almost no impact on my neighborhood. Despite all this, work is advancing on my layout. I have completed three structures for my layout: A grain mill, a factory, and a lumber yard. All of these were Lehigh Valley kits. I am currently scratchbuilding a fourth building which will be a Farmall tractor dealership. I hope to be a more regular visitor as things should calm down a little as we move into the holidays. Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I hope everyone is having a great fall and that their modeling is going well.
Things are getting better. This is the second visit from me this week. If I can ever figure out how to post pictures, I will get some digital shots of my layout. My daughter created a spectacular backdrop for me prior to going to college. Its probably a little over the top by normal backdrop standards, but I like it. Its pretty obvious looking at it that there is going to be a thunderstorm this evening.
