Hi everybody, New to Trainboard but have been obsessed with trains and heavy equipment for longer than I can remember. I grew up with N scale with my dad and left the hobby for about 30 years. I've come back but now in Z scale. I've done very little layout wise so far because I've been having to much fun designing and rapid prototyping MOW equipment and construction equipment. I have created a Shapeways store and would love to post some images of some machine kits I have for sale. I assume the best place to post would be under Z scale thread? I've had a great experience with all the folks over in Z Scale Station and I'm sure it will be the same over here. Thanks, -Jon Pope
Hi Jon, Welcome to the TrainBoard. I'm amused by your seeming conflict of obsessions, Heavy Equipment and Z-Scale. modeling the extremely large in the extremely small. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Most detail with heavy equipment is external and visible, whereas most detail with trains, at least diesels, is internal and hidden from view.
Hi Jon ... welcome to Trainboard. There is a thread called, "Swap Meet" where you can list your equipment. I don't think anyone will complain if you also mention your goods in the Z scale forum.
