    Like your Orwell quote. Perhaps my HO locomotive quality expectations should't be as high as for firearms? (At least most of mine would get off one round when brand new, and usually out the front).

    Yup. It IS fun....(just a rumor, you understand).

    Gave up my gun dealer's license when I retired in 1998. Regulations, cost, business location discrimination turned imto a no-fun hobby.. Gave everyhing to my son in Feb. and turned to trains where the only regulators ar my wallet and wife.

    nice to know I'm not alone here, oh well we could always go vist subguns.com. Do you get Small Arms Review. They recently did a piece on class 3 in Hawaii.

    No. I seem to drop all contact on a hobby when I get out and leap into the new one. Gettin old-hard to breath and daydream about more than one thing at a time.

    Hmmmm..never used to think about breathin' nor read the obits either.
