Got "Outbound Trains in the Era Before the Mergers" by Jim Boyd from my local library on Friday. I'd have to say it's a heck of a book and there's at least one B/W picture if not color on each page. Lots of early and transition photos. I'm a modern railroad modeller and found it hard to put down. Definately a cool one if you can find a copy.
