Not the best pictures and to start this is a 4x8, I have the outside track (main line) and the inside track for local and industry, I am wondering if I should run the sort tracks right on the table. I am up in the air about scenery as I am just looking for switching and sorting.
Yes. You can run your sort tracks right on the table. A lot of yard and industry tracks lack the raised right of way and ballasting of a main track.
