    Wow, amtrak pics! [​IMG]

    Anyone know why some of the late scheme superliner paint has a white band behind the red and blue stripes (like the Kato Ph IV superliners) and others have the same stripes but without the wide white band behind it? The pics show these two schemes.

    Is one Phase IV and the other Phase V?

    They are both at Havre. The front and rear. We were heading west toward Portland and Seattle.

    This is embarassing! [​IMG] Guess it's because I'm a depot fan, I tend to look that direction. And have not paid as much to the other way.

    Oh well. It's been a while since I was in that area. Maybe again this summer. Just not much reason to go that way.
