Good Evening! I was in the hobby in the late 80's and lost my layout room and a good deal more to the ex-wife. Two Christmas's ago I put a simple circle of my old tyco train set around the Christmas tree for my grandson and he loved it. So I am starting a new layout at have 65, the Potomac and Northern RR set in the transition era in the Western MD, PA, WV area.
Awesome, I have drifted in and out of this hobby for many years and currently have an actual, operating switching layout (no scenery yet) and at age 73, count myself lucky to have this. I'm happy you have rediscovered this hobby sooner than I did!!! Welcome!!! Lots of good people and ideas are to be found here.
