I have couple Hallmark engines that I need to add lights, windows and number boards to. A GP35 and RS4/5.

    Can anyone offer some advice?

Can you post some pics to illustrate your dilema?

You can use Krystal Klear to make the windows. You can also use clear Plastruct strips to make the windows as well.

Krystal Klear is really easy to apply and use.

You can Windows Excell to make the numberboards, just use the correct font and size and print them out.

My Hallmark diesels have decoders installed. I wired leds to the decoder for lighting.

Another potential option is to buy the parts from existing "plastic" options and modify them to fit... Atlas has both GP35's and RSD4/5's....

I take clear styrene and glue it in from the back to make my windows.
Haven't added lights, but added 'jewels'. Number boards are painted, and decals added.

I've thought about that. Are there any good or better than average figures for it?

I used a Lenz gold mini series decoder for this loco. It has the latest Lenz technology for decoders and is also the smallest decoder on the market today. Lenz released this series in June of 2005.
