For those with access to the book Missouri Pacific Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment, there is a picture of this car on p 109. For others, these were autoracks designed to carry compact cars vertically, nose down. They were built starting in 1970 or so, an carried TTVX reporting marks.

My question is: I'd like to try to model one of these (it's kinda cool looking) but can only find the one photograph. I'm looking to see if anyone has knowledge of other photos of one of these beasts, or better yet plans or diagrams. I'm not even sure at this stage if these were 85 or 89 foot cars.

If noone here has info, I'll repost this request in a week or so to a modelling format; just thought to start here since the only picture I've seen is of a MoPac car, and maybe someone has more reference material than I do.

Mike I have the plans from an HO Balsa kit I bought at an NMRA swap meet. You will have to reduce to N Scale.

A note on the Vert-A-Pacs. They were used to haul Chevy Vegas.
