Actually the answers are, GE junk, GE junk and a real General Motors locomotive!

No, the SD50s were EMD junk, which just happen to be more rare than GE junk!

I figured I'd get a rise out of some expert. I've had less problems with ANY EMD I've ever had with GE's in the last 17 years I've been an engineer.

I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I've been around the block enough to know the early problems with the '50 line. Not that GEs are without flaw, it's just that the '50s were EMD's first real dogs.

    Hey Hutch,
What is that street crossing? I don't recognize it. I have shot a lot of Florence, but mostly around the yard.

This is Irby St. at the corner of the City-County Complex. It is right next to the Railroad Museum as well. One block behind my vantage point is Highway 52.
