Could some body please tell me what rd# cars come with the Kato GN passenger set #106-1103? Also, when was this set produced? I purchased this set thinking it was a newer set and apparently it isn't as it isn't listed on the Kato site. Thank, Walt
Brand new it should be worth about the current street price of new sets (~$65). Slightly used but in like new condition, I feel $50 is about right (speaking from experience, check the link in my signature ). The "A" sets seem to be more in demand right now.
Yeah ... that would be alright ... especially considering NONE of the Kato GN cars are Great Northern prototype! Not even "close" ... :tb-mad::thumbs_down::tb-mad:
That's true, however these were and are high quality, nicely decorated cars. So many GN releases have screwed up the pullman green and Omaha orange colors. Greens are almost always too light and the orange usually looks too red. To Kato's credit, the cars are VERY nice looking. I'm holding out hope that Kato will eventually release a prototypical 1947 Empire Builder (the pre-dome train with E7's with that fantastic paint scheme).
