I was wondering if any of you have the MRC Rail Power 250 Tech 4 power pack with walk around. I received this little gem for X-Mass . However it seems to have a few bugs, or maybe its me the operator. There was no real instruction sheet with the unit and I have found that you must program some of the settings each time you turn it on. This I can live with, However, the unit will suddenly go into emergency and act as if I pressed the stop button. Some times after running the trains for a short time it will suddenly switch the train in the reveres direction. ( Now that's a pain !) I have run several experiments to see if its in the walk around, or if it is in the power supply its self. I have found that this happens less when I do not have the walk around connected to the pack, however it still happens just a bought as much as when you have it in walk around mode. Any one have any ideas, before I bounce this here thing out the window and into one of our Buffalo NY. Snow banks PS. I have been to MRC's web sight and I see that they do not list the Tech 250, they seemed to have left it off the page for some reason, could it be because it's a piece of junk
The 250 was replaced by the 350, which retains your programmed setttings and is much improved. Mine was $69 (350).
