Some time ago someone had a very nifty idea to replace the fragile LL switcher power pickup brass strips with a single strip, folded double, that ran the length of the body shell. Can anybody point me to that posting? You know what they say, with old age, memory is the second thing to go. (The first? Sorry, can't remember :D )

Also, is there a method on TrainBoard to flag posts for future reference, so when you go through the archive, those flagged posts stand out?

    Thanks
    William

The thread you seek sounds vaguely familiar. You might try using the Trainboard Search. At the top of this page, under "Reply", you'll see it. Click on "Search."

    Robert-

Which Forum did you post it in? DCC? N Scale? Strange that it's not there?!?

I posted it in N Scale, and did a search for it with "by member #37", and the post (Advice Please) came up on the search for "electrical" and another search for "contacts".
When I tried to view that post I got a "You have requested a topic that does not exist! " error.

Today I tried the search and it no longer comes up when I search "contacts", so I suspect some kind of data corruption on the server.
