I got this from someone between 2005-2010, brand new wrapped in white closed cell foam, and with a red LED not soldered on. I want to use it now on a small double loop test track I am building. I THINK it came from Lajos Thek, but it may have came from Oliver Passman, but am not sure. I think it is either called a Snail Speed Controller, or a predecessor or clone, either way it is an early prototype and the single sided PCB has a V2.0 marking on it. I connected it to a 9V battery which measures 9.47V, and measured voltage across the white wire and the red wire at 8.79V. The Fwd/Off/Rev switch is in the center position, which I assume is off. Toggling the direction don't change the polarity or voltage, and neither does turning the potentiometer. I never tested it till now, but instead of bad parts, I hope it's a hasty assembly miss-wiring issue. Does anyone recognize or have one of these?
It’s a Medvend Laos’s cousin’, if I got it all right. 50Hz or ~200, can’t remember that far back and not on the data. just got up from 4 week in Germany wit the Mrs I’ll get docs out (has mounting dimensions)
Here is the file: Medvend AN_1CSAC (Analog Smart Controller. Marklin locos are pushing the Current limit There is the DU_3_ can control up to 3 DCC locomotives (1 at a time) making for a nice switcher control. LOW Address, only, which should not be an issue.
