I'm getting a Kato HO GP35 ready for a Christmas present for my son. I've put in an NCE DA-SR decoder and tested it on the programming track. Everything works great- smooth running mechanism, decoder well uh decoding! Before I put on the LED lighting I thought it would be wise to slide the shell back on to see that everything fits. The shell doesn't seat all the way down on the frame. I think it might be the light tubes (clear plastic things sticking down from front & rear lights) that are the problem. The original top weight and light board assembly have been removed and there's only the DA-SR sitting on the motor assembly via the light board mounting screws. (Digitrax has a good installation doc for their comparable decoder- http://www.digitrax.com/static/apps/products/mobile-decoders/dh165k0/documents/DH165K0.pdf ). Does anyone have a suggestion for what to do about the light tubes. I'm pretty desperate as Christmas is not far off. Dave
