I model Frisco and Farmrail (which now runs here locally on the old Frisco and Santa Fe North-South lines. I basically model the fading steam to diesel period and 1950's era. I have a shelf layout and two cats! Pray for my railroad, but the cats and I get on fine! Also "old school", no dcc. We have 6 layouts here where I live, but no club yet. Also am amateur radio operator and trained storm spotter, sometimes combine twister-spotting and train spotting !
Hello and welcome! I model just across the Red River from you, although a much later era. BNSF Red River and Wichita Falls subs,1998-2003 or so. Current layout represents the southernmost part of the WF Sub near Fort Worth, but I hope to eventually do FW to Amarillo.
Hello and welcome. I was able to visit the Farmrail locomotive shops in Clinton last December. Very interesting operation. I too model a little Frisco.
