Hi all, My name is Diego, and I'm from Santiago, Chile. I found this site looking for Milwaukee Road stuff, and I'm very impressed seeing some pictures of your models. I model H0, mainly chilean stuff, but I have USA, Brazil, and some European models. I'm into kitbashing too, because there aren't RTR chilean models on the market. Here there are some examples of my chilean kitbashed and scratchbuild stuff: E-28 EFE, build by Baldwin Westinghouse, not finished yet: D-23 Fepasa, an SD-39 M2 by NRE: D-5100 Fepasa, an U-5-B from GE: Regards, Diego. :tb-biggrin: P.S.: Sorry for my english
Diego- Welcome to TrainBoard! Don't worry about your English. It seems to be very good from what you've written so far. Just give it your best try and we'll do our best to follow along. You mention the Milwaukee Road- I am a big fan, and had family members who worked for them. Here at TrainBoard we have two places for chatting about the Milwaukee. In our Fallen Flags section, and also a modeling Group. Thanks for sharing photos of your modeling! If you have more you'd wish to post, please do! Boxcab E50
Thank you all for your words! Good to know about the places for chatting about the Milwaukee. I like very much their electrics, you know, the boxcabs, the quills, the Joes, the bi-polars... I got recently a Little Joe from MTH (I know some purists dislike the model, but for me is more than ok), and I would like to get another electrics. I know is not easy, neither cheap And about more photos, I will posting some of them, but in another threads. Thanks for asking. Greetings! Diego.
