Hello, I just registered to this forum and would like to introduve myself. My name is Lutz (say "fluids"without the "f" at the beginning), which is the German version of Louis. In real life I am an anesthesist, I life in northern Germany in the city of Uelzen. Those of you who occupy themselves with German/European model trains might know my hometown's passenger rail station or the Metronom commuter trains company, that has its headquaters here. My model railroad is in Z scale an mainly an US layout. I love the American style of locomotives, multiple traction and log freight trains as well as my Amtrak passenger trains. At the moment I am converting my layout to DCC, which seems to be quite a task in Z scale. I hope I will find answers to questions that might come up during the process. Cheers from Europe, Lutz
Lutz, welcome aboard. Please keep us informed of your progress as you convert to DCC. Check the forums here for advice which may assist you.
Welcome to Trainboard. Some of my first N scale cars were German prototypes that my brother brought back from his visit there.
